Real-time sync: Does the integration update in real time or batch sync at intervals? Real-time prevents double-bookings.
Appointment type support: Can the AI distinguish between new patient consultations, adjustment appointments, retainer checks, and emergencies? Each requires different time slots and providers.
Insurance verification: Does the integration support checking insurance eligibility and benefits through your PMS or clearinghouse connection?
